In Nurafshan and Angren, several new investment projects involving Chinese investors are set to be implemented. This was reported by the hokimiyat of the Tashkent region.

A delegation from the local authorities of Nurafshan held talks with representatives of Extol Global Capital Pte. Ltd and other investors from Zhejiang province. As a result of these discussions, agreements were reached for projects with an estimated value of $106 million.

In the city, a construction materials cluster is planned to be established at a cost of $12.5 million. Another project involves the opening of a cosmetics manufacturing plant.

In addition, Chinese companies plan to construct a multi-apartment residential complex, a hotel, and a restaurant in the center of Nurafshon Business City. The implementation of these projects is expected to create over 2,000 new jobs.

Several more manufacturing projects with Chinese investments are planned for the Angren free economic zone. The city’s hokim, Alisher Raimov, met with entrepreneurs from the provinces of Hunan, Anhui, Shandong, and Guangdong.

The guests signed memorandums with companies Anhui Jinpeng Energy Saving Technology, Infy Power, and Xintay. Plans include organizing the production of furniture, windows and doors, water filters, solar panels, battery systems, and automotive parts.
