The Competition Committee has announced the issuance of a license for the establishment of a new commodity exchange.
The application was submitted by the company Hayot Birja. The regulatory authority, after reviewing the application "considering the requirements and conditions for licensing," decided to grant it the permit.
According to data from the Unified State Register of Enterprises, the joint-stock company Hayot Birja was initially established in September 2019. The company has a charter capital of 102 billion soms, and its director is Alisher Yuldashev.
Until June 2024, the enterprise operated under the name XT-Xarid Texnologiyalari. The company manages a platform for government procurement in the format of the online store xt-xarid.uz, which was launched in 2020.
Initially, the co-founders of XT-Xarid Texnologiyalari, each holding a 50% stake, were the Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Finance and the Russian company "Tender Pro." In 2022, the Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers decided to privatize the state share in the enterprise.
Previously, Spot reported that the court approved the Competition Committee's request to suspend the license of the Republican Universal Agricultural Exchange for six months.
