The Unified Republican Processing Center, which manages the Uzcard payment system, has undergone a change in management. This information was reported on the company's website.

On January 30, Executive Director of the ERP Center, Olimjon Zakirov, left his position due to his transition to the managing company UCMG. He has taken the role of Commercial Director there.

Uzcard's interests will now be represented by the General Director of UCMG, David Melikidze, who will serve as the head of the structure fulfilling the executive body’s responsibilities in the ERP Center. The changes will not affect the operation of the payment system, the company emphasized.

Olimjon Zakirov took charge of the Uzcard system in the fall of 2022, succeeding Farrukh Ziyaev in this position. Prior to this, he was the Deputy General Director for Financial Technologies and had held managerial positions in the ERP Center since 2019.

In July 2024, the shareholders' meeting of Uzcard approved the appointment of UCMG as the trust manager and the transfer of the powers of the General Director of the service to it, while Zakirov transitioned to the role of Executive Director. At that time, the ATTO service and Plum Technologies also came under trust management.

According to data from the State Register of Legal Entities, UCMG was established in Tashkent last June and officially engages in business consulting. 75% of the firm is owned by the foreign enterprise IMC-Capital, with the remaining share belonging to Akbar Akilov.

The company is headed by David Melikidze, who previously held positions as General Director at the payment service Payme and Financial Director at TBC UZ. His LinkedIn page notes that he has been leading Uzcard Group since June 2024.

Earlier, Spot reported that IMC Capital became a co-owner of the mobile operator Perfectum.
