Manufacturers of copper products may receive a discount on copper raw materials produced by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. This is mentioned in the roadmap for the presidential decree dated December 27.
The document (in Uzbek) outlines the provision of a discount on the initial price of copper cathodes offered by AGMK at stock exchanges for companies that produce high value-added products from copper. The Ministry of Economic Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and "Uzelttehsanoat" will develop a draft presidential decree by March 2025.
It has also been instructed to develop proposals for reducing customs duties on the import of motor vehicles for transporting goods during the transportation of chicks from breeding farms to agricultural holdings.
The Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Customs Committee will draft the presidential decree. The deadline is February 2025.
In turn, the responsible authorities must prepare a draft presidential decree on financial support for dairy industry enterprises by February 2025.
Additionally, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, "People's Bank," and the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association have been tasked with studying international experience in the production of leather and footwear products and negotiating with major companies from Turkey, Vietnam, India, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, as well as concluding investment and export agreements with them.
