Starting from January 1, 2025, all oil products produced by the Bukhara Oil Refinery will be sold through the commodity exchange (UzRTSB), as reported by the press service of "Uzbekneftegaz".
The state company noted that practical work is currently underway to foster competition in the market for goods and services, gradually reduce monopoly power, eliminate elements of the distribution system, and create equal conditions for providing material and technical resources to all business entities.
“According to this principle, from January 1, 2025, all types of oil products produced by the Bukhara Oil Refinery, including gasoline, will be sold exclusively through exchange trading (UzRTSB - note: Spot) under conditions of free competition,” the statement said.
Uzbekneftegaz emphasized that the issue of meeting the population's demand for gasoline has been placed under state control, and all available resources have been mobilized for this purpose.
Since the end of October, "Uzbekneftegaz" has started offering AI-92 gasoline on the commodity exchange. The price of fuel produced at the Bukhara Oil Refinery exceeds 11.5 million soums per ton.
Earlier, Spot reported that "Uzbekneftegaz" announced a competition for the position of advisor to the chairman on gender issues.
