UzAuto Motors Powertrain has appointed an acting general director, as reported on the Unified Corporate Information Portal.

The position has been filled by the managing director of the company, Saidazim Gulyamov. The company’s shareholder made the corresponding decision at a meeting on December 26.

Gulyamov will serve as the acting head of the company until a new leader is appointed, with a mandate to make a decision on this matter by June 30, 2025. During this time, he will receive all the rights and responsibilities of the general director.

The previous head of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain, Bo Andersson, left his positions on December 27, after serving for 3 years and 4 months. As noted in the announcement, the decision regarding his resignation was reached "by mutual agreement."

Saidazim Gulyamov has been leading UzAuto Motors Powertrain since 2016 until Andersson's appointment, and has worked with the company for nearly 15 years, starting in April 2010. Prior to this, he spent nine months at GM Uzbekistan, and previously worked for 8 years at the American Regions Bank.

Earlier, Spot reported that Asrorjon Askarov became the acting head of "Regional Electric Networks."
