The Competition Committee has identified 1,489 violations in the field of outdoor advertising in Tashkent for 2024, as reported by the agency's press service.
The capital's supervisory authority inspected 3,450 advertising objects and display media. Following the inspections, 295 warnings were issued, and in 520 cases, Committee staff provided explanations and recommendations for resolving the issues.
Legal cases were initiated against 15 companies and enterprises by the special commission of the committee. They received orders to rectify the violations and to prevent them in the future.
The list of violators includes tour operators (Camel Travel, Comfort Travel and Ziyarah, Rahmat Travel Group), advertising operators (Hamkor Reklama Servis), the food industry (Inter Food Plus, Ritz Unique Inc), and other sectors (Energomax, Legion Co).
The Committee also conducted 3,587 inspections related to advertising objects in the Khorezm region. As a result, 1,899 violations were identified, and administrative cases were initiated against Fly Khiva Travel Group and four other companies.
Approximately 4,000 inspections in the field of outdoor advertising were conducted in the Kashkadarya region. The local authority uncovered violations by 13 firms and issued 9 orders to rectify the issues.
