Uzbekistan will gain continuous access to the Black Sea.

Uzbekistan may begin shipping goods to Europe and America via the ports of Georgia. This was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Transport Abdusamat Muminov and Georgian officials.

The parties also addressed the reduction of transportation costs and delivery times. The ports of Poti and Batumi may be utilized for the shipment of goods.

It is worth noting that in July of last year, Uzbekistan and Georgia held a meeting regarding the establishment of transport corridors connecting Central Asia and the South Caucasus. The parties agreed on mutual discounts and benefits for cargo transportation.
