The market value of secondary housing has increased by 20.2% per square meter compared to the same period last year, according to the press service of the Centre for Economic Research and Reforms.
Over the past month, the figure rose by 0.9%. Significant growth has been observed in the Navoi (29.3%) and Fergana regions (29%).
In the capital, the average figure increased by 28.3%.
In January 2022, the number of real estate transactions in Uzbekistan grew by 2.7%, noted the CER. Experts believe that the primary tool supporting the real estate market is preferential mortgage loans.
In January, 18,000 real estate transactions were registered, which is 19.7% more than in December 2022.
The highest growth rates were recorded in the Republic of Karakalpakstan – threefold, Namangan – 78.3%, and Syrdarya regions – 68%.
