You are now on the brink of the construction of the Museum of Islamic Civilization, which is being established under the unique initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This museum inspires researchers to uncover the hidden treasures of Islam. On the screen, you can see a map illustrating the cities of Central Asia that the Arab traveler and historian Ibn Battuta visited. He documented his observations about the famous Samarkand paper, the region's nature, the lifestyle, and even the appearance of its inhabitants. In his writings about rivers, he mentions crossing the Jayhun. During the congress held in August, we signed a memorandum with the Center for Islamic Civilization. Based on this, we plan to organize an exhibition in the museum center dedicated to the travels of Ibn Battuta, using modern technologies to showcase the cities he encountered.
