The handwritten Quran, transcribed by the calligrapher Umar Akta during the reign of Amir Timur, stands out due to its enormous size and unique calligraphy. This magnificent work was created in Herat between 1402 and 1405. The dimensions of the pages are 1.25 x 2.25 meters. The manuscript was kept on a special stone slab in the Bibikhonim Mosque in Samarkand.

This manuscript is recognized as one of the largest copies of the Quran in history. Some suggest that Boysunghur Mirzo may have also participated in its transcription. Currently, the pages of this manuscript are housed in various museums and libraries, including the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in New York, the British Library in London, and collections in Iran.
