The Saudi airline flyadeal has launched regular flights on the Jeddah – Namangan – Jeddah route. This was announced by the Uzbekistan Airports press service.

The inaugural flight took place on January 15. An Airbus A330 carrying 350 passengers arrived at Namangan Airport at 10:21 local time, where it was greeted with a traditional water arch.

Flights on the Jeddah – Namangan route will operate three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Initially, it was planned for flyadeal to start operating on this route in December 2024. Prior to this, the airline launched flights from Jeddah to Tashkent and announced plans to establish a connection between the capital of Uzbekistan and Medina.

The company received permission from "Uzaviasiya" to operate flights on all three routes on November 14. At that time, it was reported that the routes would be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Earlier, Spot reported that Air Arabia launched direct flights from Tashkent to Ras Al Khaimah.

The airline flyadeal is a subsidiary of the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, Saudia, launched in 2017 and operating on a low-cost model. The company is based at Jeddah International Airport and has a fleet of 32 aircraft.
