The governor of the Syrdarya region has been dismissed, and heads of 16 districts and cities have received reprimands.

It has been clarified that Akmaljon Mahmudaliev has been dismissed from his position due to significant shortcomings in attracting investments, developing agriculture in the region, and other areas.

Additionally, it was noted that the khokims of several districts and cities have neglected issues related to investments and exports.

Specifically, last year, investments in the Beruniy, Karauzyak, Kungrad, Peshkun, Yangiyabad, Kamashin, Khankin, and Shavat districts did not even reach 15 million dollars. Exports declined in the Romitan, Dehkanabad, Mirishkor, Chirakchin, Narpay, Nurabad, and Gulistan districts, as well as in the city of Akhangaran.

The leaders of these territories were issued a reprimand.
