Uzbekistan Airports addressed the recent news regarding restrictions on travel agencies that organize pilgrimage tours.

Video materials have circulated on social media indicating that restrictions have been imposed on travel companies organizing pilgrimage tours to Saudi Arabia at Tashkent International Airport.
In response to this, the press service of Uzbekistan Airport reported the following:
“There have been no restrictions imposed by Tashkent Airport or the managing company Uzbekistan Airports concerning travel agencies and passengers. All passengers with airline tickets have been timely registered for their respective flights. By this time, the registration process for two flights to Saudi Arabia has been completed:
- F3 9223 of Flyadeal from Tashkent to Jeddah: 352 passengers / scheduled departure time February 19 at 00:10;
- C6 319 of Centrum Air from Tashkent to Jeddah: 176 passengers / scheduled departure time February 19 at 00:20.”
