In the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent, a high-rise business complex may be constructed, according to the press service of the local khokimiyat.
On February 14, the khokim of the Yakkasaray district, Nilufar Allabergenova, met with representatives of Griffin Development "to further advance the economic development and investment climate in the district."
This investment project includes the construction of a multi-story business center, a hotel, service complexes, and residential buildings with infrastructure.
The local administration noted that this will not only refresh the architectural appearance of the Yakkasaray district but also increase employment opportunities by creating jobs.
Published renderings show that the project will be located on Glinka Street near the Besh Qozon café. According to satellite images from Google Earth dated September 20, 2024, residential buildings currently occupy the construction site. In response to a question from Spot regarding the potential demolition of buildings, the press service of the Yakkasaray district stated that a decision on the implementation of the investment project has not yet been made, promising to provide detailed information later.
Spot has presumably found the website of Griffin Development, which is based in Montana (USA). Its portfolio lists several residential and commercial property construction projects.
Previously, Spot reported that a plot of land in western Tashkent was sold at auction for 55 billion sums.
