The State Asset Management Agency has announced an extension for accepting applications to purchase shares in two companies.

This concerns the 100% stake in Avto Climate Control, as well as the Invest Group Centre, the legal entity of the Tashkent sports complex "Yoshlik." In both cases, the decision was made based on recommendations from consultants at Portfolio Investments.

Applicants interested in acquiring Avto Climate Control have requested additional time to analyze the company's financial and operational activities, as noted in the announcement. The decision also aims to attract more investors and ensure a competitive environment.

The deadline for submitting binding purchase offers for Avto Climate Control has been extended to 23:59 February 5, while the collection of interest applications will continue. Meanwhile, applications to purchase Invest Group Centre can be submitted until 23:59 February 6.

Applications and other necessary documents for both assets are accepted via the email address [email protected]. The Agency has promised to keep the public informed about the stages of privatization.

About the Companies

Avto Climate Control was established in 2010 and produces automotive heating and cooling systems. The authorized capital is 12.59 billion sums. The buyer will be required to maintain the company's profile for 10 years and not reduce staff for 2 years following the transaction.

The privatization process for Avto Climate Control began in August and was extended in December. As reported in November, the Agency received 3 applications from local and foreign investors to purchase the company.

LLC Invest Group Centre manages the sports facilities of the "Yoshlik" complex, which was previously owned by the Central Bank. The authorized fund is 4.11 billion sums, and the sale of the lot has been ongoing since October.

The potential buyer must maintain the current type of activity for at least 10 years. Construction of buildings and structures on the territory of the sports complex is prohibited, and repairs or renovations are only allowed with the approval of the urban planning council.
