The authorities have halted the infringement of trademark rights for the cheese "Khansky," as reported by the Intellectual Property Department of the Ministry of Justice.
Representatives from Fatih Kral Mob, the company that owns the brand, filed a complaint with the agency. They reported the sale of products on the market under brands that are confusingly similar to their trademark.
Department employees found that the company L.A. produces cheese products under the brand "Hakikiy" (real). Moreover, the graphic design of the label is closely similar to that of "Khansky" cheese.
The Ministry of Justice has imposed a financial penalty of 200 BRV (75 million sums) on the company L.A. Additionally, they issued a directive to cease the violations and prevent them in the future.
In November 2024, the Ministry of Justice investigated a violation of the trademark rights for the candy "Kartoshka" by a local company, issuing a directive to rectify the violations. Subsequently, the agency fined a banquet hall 37.5 million sums for using the sign Xonsaroy.
