Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

“First and foremost, I sincerely congratulate you, my dear ones, all the Muslims of the country and our entire nation on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan – a month of goodness, generosity, blessings, and compassion.

In these blessed days, we express countless thanks to the Almighty for the opportunity to welcome this bright month together with our people in peace and tranquility,” the President's festive message states.

Today, reforms in all areas are being carried out based on the noble idea of “In the name of honor and dignity, in the name of human happiness,” resonating with the humanitarian essence of the sacred religion of Islam.

It has been noted that efforts aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the social protection system are expanding, providing comprehensive support for the sick, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and those in need, as well as for the youth and women, and citizens of Uzbekistan abroad, with increased attention to the education and upbringing of children and the improvement of places of worship and sanctuaries.

“The consistent continuation of the work we have begun in this direction, the careful preservation of a peaceful and prosperous life in the country, and the atmosphere of interethnic and interfaith harmony will continue to be at the center of our attention,” emphasized the head of state.

“In this prosperous month, when all pure intentions are realized, we sincerely ask in our prayers for an end to wars and conflicts, confrontations, and disputes in various regions of the planet, and for peace, mutual respect, magnanimity, and cooperation to prevail across the earth,” the message states.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly congratulating all Muslim brothers, friends, and partners on the beginning of the month of Ramadan, wished peace, well-being, and prosperity to their countries and peoples.
