According to the results of 2024, the average nominal accrued salary amounted to 5.357 million sums, which is 17.4% higher compared to the previous year. This was reported by the Statistics Agency.

The highest salary growth was observed in Tashkent, where the average wage reached 9.07 million sums (an increase of 21.4%). Following the capital are the Navoi region with 6.76 million sums (+15%) and the Tashkent region with 5.09 million sums (+12.2%).

The lowest average salary was recorded in the Kashkadarya region, at 3.78 million sums (+12.2%).

Average Salary by Sectors

The highest average salaries are recorded in the finance and insurance sector, amounting to 15.26 million sums. In second place is the information and communication sector with an average of 13.15 million sums, followed by transportation and storage at 8.11 million sums.

In industry, the average salary is 6.43 million sums, in trade it is 6.23 million sums, and in construction, it is 5.97 million sums.

The lowest salaries are observed in healthcare and social services (3.41 million sums), as well as in education (3.63 million sums).

Information Technology and Communication Sector

This sector boasts the highest average salaries:

  • computer programming, consulting, and other services — 18.28 million sums;
  • information services — 16.9 million sums;
  • communication — 10.91 million sums.

The highest average monthly salary in the information and communication sector is recorded in Tashkent at 14.85 million sums (+24.8% year-on-year). Following are the Andijan region with 9.02 million sums (+19.9%) and the Samarkand region with 8.94 million sums (+19.3%).

Education and Healthcare

In the education sector, the highest average salary is found in higher education at 8.56 million sums, while the lowest is in preschool education (1.96 million sums). The average income in technical and vocational education is 3.75 million sums, and in general education schools, it is 3.58 million sums.

The highest regional figure is recorded in Tashkent (6.09 million sums), while the lowest is in the Kashkadarya region (3.02 million sums).

In healthcare and social services, the highest salaries are also recorded in Tashkent at 4.31 million sums, whereas in the Kashkadarya region, this figure does not exceed 2.68 million sums.
