The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Estonia has grown by 20% in 2024, reaching approximately $150 million. The primary growth was driven by services, heavy machinery products, and medical equipment, as reported by the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan on February 21.
A unified position has been expressed regarding the adoption of additional measures to increase trade turnover. This includes utilizing the ports of Tallinn, Muuga, Pärnu, and Sillamäe to diversify the export routes of Uzbek products to the markets of Northern and Western Europe.

There are 31 enterprises with Estonian capital operating in Uzbekistan. The parties have agreed on plans to engage businesses in new projects in green energy, IT, water management, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and logistics.
A schedule of joint events for 2025 has also been approved, confirming the parties' commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
