Uzbekistan and Pakistan have inaugurated a joint Trading House and Cultural Center in Karachi, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs information agency Dunyo.

With the support of the Uzbek embassy in the Islamic Republic and the local company Diners Group, the official opening of the Uzbekistan-Pakistan International Trading Centre and the UzbekPak Cultural Centre took place in Karachi.

Sohail Moteen, the head of Diners Group, emphasized that the trading house and cultural center will help restore regional connectivity between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, increase the volume of mutual trade, and provide information for investors.

“The trading houses being opened in Karachi and Tashkent will serve as permanent exhibition pavilions, raising awareness about the industrial goods of both countries. We hope this will significantly increase the share of mutual nomenclature in the exports and imports of Pakistan and Uzbekistan,” said the entrepreneur.

The trading house features samples of domestic industrial products, including textiles, threads, wool, leather, plastic pellets, and dried fruits.
