Uzbekistan is developing a platform called "Safe Elevator."

В Узбекистане создаётся платформа «Безопасный лифт» для повышения безопасности лифтов.

A press conference was held at the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, during which it was noted that numerous projects have been implemented to develop the housing and communal services sector, as well as to modernize and digitize the system.

In particular, the management system for apartment buildings has been fully digitized: protocols of general meetings, reports, appeals, and dispatch services have all been digitized.

- Additionally, a unified interdepartmental platform called "Safe Elevator" is being developed, which will be used to manage and monitor the condition of elevators in apartment buildings, - reported Khusnidin Shodieyev, the chief specialist of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. - 8942 elevators in multi-story buildings will undergo technical inspections and receive passports and certificates of compliance. Based on this, 2001 elevators will be reconstructed and 382 elevators will be repaired over the next 5 years. Technical passports for multi-story buildings are also being developed. A list of buildings constructed before 1991 will be compiled, and technical passports will be issued. An electronic database will be created, allowing a clear view of the condition of all buildings. Based on these passports, a list of buildings requiring repairs or renovation will be formed. The registration system for the management of apartment buildings has also been completely transitioned to an electronic format.

This system will generate and publish a list of activities carried out by management bodies, information about their structure, data on employees, material and technical resources, debts, and the qualification level of managers and employees. Additionally, methodological support for their activities will be provided, and legal assistance will be offered.

A national information system called "Turar Joy" will be created, which will include data on the technical condition of buildings.

Citizen appeals are directed to management and service companies through the "My Home" system, and their execution is monitored by the ministry. Through this system, requests and comments from the public regarding the activities of these companies are received, and their ratings are formed based on this feedback.

- The Ministry will develop and implement the "Safe Elevator" platform by May, - Kh. Shodieyev reported. - Currently, work is being done in this direction. All elevator equipment will be included in the platform after its commissioning. The platform allows for online tracking of all necessary information: who owns the elevator, whether it is common property, which service organization has a maintenance contract, when the last technical inspection of the elevator was conducted, and how much time remains until the next technical inspection.

Citizens will also be able to access the platform and submit requests. It should also be emphasized that specialists from organizations servicing elevators will upload information about the elevator along with photographs to the platform during each maintenance visit. This information is sent to the management company, which confirms the arrival of the service specialist and the services provided for maintenance. This process is recorded on the platform.

Work is underway to connect 6000 out of more than 11000 elevators in our country to mandatory dispatch centers. The management companies themselves have dispatch centers to which all elevators are connected. New elevators are connected directly and then put into operation. Older elevators are connected in phases.

It is worth noting that from 2022 to 2024, extensive work has been carried out to digitize the construction and housing and communal services sector. As a result of these efforts, transparency, openness, and efficiency have been achieved in the industry, creating favorable conditions for both the population and businesses.
