The legislation establishes the procedure for concluding electronic contracts. The relevant resolution was issued by the Cabinet of Ministers on December 27, 2024.
The document amends the provisions of the Unified National Labor System (UNLS), adopted in December 2019. According to these amendments, electronic employment contracts will be drafted directly in the UNLS.
The electronic contract must be signed using an electronic digital signature by both the employer and the employee through their personal accounts. Additional agreements must also be certified using an electronic digital signature.
All employers are required to conclude electronic employment contracts via the UNLS platform and register paper contracts within it. An exception is made for organizations with confidential staffing schedules and employers in the field of national security.
Since early 2020, the government has implemented mandatory online registration of employment contracts in the electronic system. At that time, electronic workbooks were also introduced, providing open access for employees and the ability to add information about previous places of employment.
