For the first time in history, Uzbekistan's junior national team will compete in the World Championship.

In their first World Championship, the junior team from Uzbekistan will compete against teams from South Africa, Luxembourg, Turkmenistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the tournament hosts – the Thailand national team.

February 28, 14:30 — Uzbekistan vs South Africa

March 1, 14:30 — Luxembourg vs Uzbekistan

March 3, 14:30 — Turkmenistan vs Uzbekistan

March 4, 11:00 — Uzbekistan vs Bosnia and Herzegovina

March 6, 18:00 — Thailand vs Uzbekistan

Interestingly, the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has designated the final match of the tournament to be between Thailand and Uzbekistan. This indicates that these two teams are viewed as the main contenders for victory.

The South African team is considered the underdog of the tournament, while Luxembourg did not participate in the competition last year. The other three teams pose serious challenges for Uzbekistan.
