In 2024, the Tax Committee paid consumers cashback amounting to 1 trillion sums, as reported by the agency's press service.
As of February 4, following the results of the previous year, consumers received over 1.05 trillion sums in cashback, of which 89.2 billion sums were confirmed for December. The number of issued fiscal receipts exceeded 1.02 billion units, with 114.8 thousand receipts accounted for the last month.
The average amount of a registered receipt was over 100 thousand sums, from which more than 1 thousand sums were paid out as cashback. Last year, 5.63 million people took advantage of the cashback service in the Soliq app.
The total cashback payouts by region were as follows:
- Tashkent – 412.2 billion sums;
- Tashkent region – 107.1 billion sums;
- Samarkand region – 93.2 billion sums;
- Fergana region – 75.6 billion sums;
- Andijan region – 52 billion sums.
In January 2024, restrictions were introduced on the amount of purchases for which 1% cashback is paid when scanning fiscal receipts in the Soliq app. Now, a maximum of 60 BRV (22.5 million sums) can be scanned per month.
The Tax Committee noted that these restrictions would not affect 98% of citizens. The remaining 2% of citizens were found to be assigning other people's receipts and registering them through their relatives.
