In 2024, the "Uzenergoinspektsiya" identified 8,280 cases of illegal usage and violations in the fields of natural gas and electricity, resulting in damages amounting to 1.4 trillion sums.

Of these, 730.1 billion sums were attributed to electricity (91 mining farms, 184 gas filling stations, 1,422 water pumps) and 679.1 billion sums to gas (57 gas filling stations, 64 greenhouses, 5 lime plants).

“During the investigation, violations were uncovered, and licenses were revoked from 51 automobile gas filling stations (AGNS),” the report states.

More than 9,000 administrative cases were initiated for violations of energy resource usage rules by consumers. As a result of examining 189 cases of fuel quality, 5.34 million liters of fuel were deemed substandard and prohibited from sale.

Additionally, reactive energy compensation devices have been installed at 25,730 consumers with a capacity of 50 kV and above. As a result, the power factor for 26 substations and 671 networks has increased compared to the previous year. Also, administrative protocols have been drawn up against 1,523 consumers who failed to comply with these directives.

“Uzenergoinspektsiya” conducted preventive measures regarding 47,300 consumers for the effective and rational use of fuel and energy resources.

Furthermore, inspections were also carried out at 416 facilities. Nearly 12,000 social sector facilities and over 7,500 multi-storey buildings were surveyed in preparation for the autumn-winter season. An energy passport, which provides information on energy resource consumption, has been created for 20,300 social facilities.
