On Saturday, February 8, a major failure occurred in the electronic tax services system, reported the press service of the Tax Committee.

“Dear taxpayers! Prompt measures have been taken to resolve the technical issues in the electronic tax services system. Normal operations will be restored soon. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the agency stated.

As of 3:25 PM, the official website of the Tax Committee is operational, while the Soliq mobile application is still not functioning, failing to log in. This was personally confirmed by a Spot journalist.

Since the end of 2024, the Tax Committee has periodically conducted database transfers to new servers during weekends or holidays. As a result, temporary limitations in the operation of several information systems and electronic tax services may occur.

This time, the agency did not provide prior notice about the technical work, which may lead users to experience disruptions when using tax systems. The next works are scheduled for March 21, 22, and 23.

Earlier, Spot reported that in 2024, the Tax Committee paid consumers a cashback of 1 trillion sums.
