The "Places" service has become available to all users in Tashkent, making it easier to search for and select suitable organizations. This service will complement the Yandex Go app for the city, assisting residents and tourists in choosing spots for leisure and everyday tasks, booking services, and conveniently getting to their desired locations within a single application.
You can find the organization you need through the search bar, and easily discover new places using the main categories:
- stores, restaurants, beauty, hotels, automotive, health, sports, and entertainment.
The service also features a city map and user-friendly filters. For instance, you can filter locations by type of organization, rating, operating hours, and availability of Wi-Fi. Additionally, you can sort them by distance.
Moreover, the service offers curated lists of places on various topics – from popular coffee shops to beauty salons. These are displayed on the main page of the service and help unveil new spots in the city not only for visitors but also for locals.
From the curated lists, you can visit the organization's profile for more detailed information. Profiles include photos of the establishment, a rating based on user reviews, and comments from previous visitors.
Once you've selected a place you like, you can enter a chat with the administrator or book a service online directly from the profile. For example, you can schedule a manicure, haircut, or reserve a table at a café. Then, you can order a taxi to that location without leaving the app. Thanks to the booking widget, users can easily manage their appointments – rescheduling or canceling them at any time. On the day of the appointment, a reminder widget will appear in advance on the main page of Yandex Go.
The "Places" service is regularly updated, utilizing data from Yandex Maps. Currently, it is available in the capital, with plans to extend the service to all regions of Uzbekistan in the future. To start using the service, you need to update the Yandex Go app in the Google Play Market or App Store.
