The Administration of the President of Uzbekistan has addressed the reports regarding mass layoffs.

It is important to note that staff optimization is an ongoing process within government bodies and administration at all levels, from the Presidential Administration to lower agencies.

The primary goal is to eliminate duplicative functions, enhance the efficiency of the government management system and the activities of civil servants, as well as to ensure rational and economical use of budgetary funds across all departments.

The extent and scale of this process will only become clear after the necessary research and analyses are conducted.
