The importance of continuing mutual support within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other international structures was emphasized.

Particular attention was given to practical cooperation in trade, economic, and investment areas. To boost trade volumes, an agreement was reached to develop a Preferential Trade Agreement, hold mutual industrial exhibitions, and adopt an Industrial Cooperation Program.

The Malaysian government actively supports Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization.

The leaders agreed to declare 2025-2026 as the period of innovative development of Uzbekistan-Malaysia partnership.

Priority areas for the new model of economic cooperation were identified: petrochemicals and chemistry, electronics and the semiconductor industry, innovative industry, smart agriculture, green energy, pilgrimage tourism, and others.

To support cooperation projects, a special economic zone is being established in the Tashkent region under the management of a leading Malaysian company.

The leaders of the countries advocated for further active cultural and humanitarian exchanges. This year, mutual Culture Weeks will be held in Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The leaders also exchanged views on current issues of regional interaction, highlighting the importance of uniting efforts in the fight against terrorism, radicalism, and Islamophobia.

As a result of the negotiations, a decision was made to prepare a roadmap for the timely and quality implementation of the agreements.

In conclusion, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, invited the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, to visit Uzbekistan on an official visit.
