This year's summit agenda includes issues related to ensuring sustainable development, promoting innovations and new technologies in the "green" economy, and strengthening regional cooperation in energy and food security.

As part of the forum, a ceremony is held to award achievements in sustainable development with the prize named after the late founding father of the Emirates, Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan. This year, the winner in the "Global Middle Schools" category is the Presidential School in Tashkent.

The award was presented by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
