It is expected that by the end of 2025, approximately 2,000 children with severe disabilities will benefit from this service. This will enable their mothers to engage in employment and pursue education.
These and other proposals were presented during a briefing aimed at enhancing the targeting of social assistance and implementing a new system for caring for individuals with disabilities, which President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed on January 28.
An information system called "Children's Health" will also be launched to monitor the diagnoses of each child with a disability. They will receive comprehensive medical, rehabilitation, educational, and social services.
Care services will be allocated subsidies for each child, as well as concessional loans for purchases. Payments made by parents for daycare services, amounting to up to 3 million sums per month, will be exempt from taxes, reports the press service of the head of state.
