Uzbekistan has adopted a state program for the year 2025.

The document has been adopted to ensure the strict implementation of tasks outlined in the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy and at the sessions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis. It aims to carry out a comprehensive "green transformation" of industries and sectors while fulfilling Uzbekistan's commitments to the global community under the Kyoto Protocol to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. This includes enhancing their competitiveness and resource efficiency, mitigating the effects of climate change and adapting to it, improving the quality of life for the population, and transitioning economic growth to a new "green" development model.

The decree outlines the priority development approaches for the country in the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy," which serve as the foundation for achieving an annual GDP growth of at least 6% by 2030, increasing its volume to $200 billion, maintaining inflation at a level of 5%, keeping the budget deficit relative to GDP at 3%, reducing poverty, and enhancing the welfare of the population through a model of economic development that promotes efficient resource usage.
