Khasanboy Dusmatov has been named Uzbekistan's top athlete for 2024.

The awards ceremony for the National Sports Prize 2024 took place in Tashkent at the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory.

At the beginning of the event, athletes who achieved high results at world championships were presented with one-time cash prizes awarded by the President's decision.

This year, awards were given to outstanding athletes, coaches, and teams who made significant contributions to the development of sports in Uzbekistan.

The winners and awardees were determined in several categories:

Best Athlete of the Year — Hasanboy Dusmatov (boxing).

Best Young Athlete of the Year — Abdukodir Khusanov (football).

Best Young Para-Athlete of the Year — Asadbek Toshtemirov (para taekwondo).

Best National Team in Non-Olympic Sports — Uzbekistan Chess Team.

Best National Team in Non-Paralympic Sports — Uzbekistan Para Chess Team.

Developing Federation — Uzbekistan Archery Federation.

Best Sports Federation in the Country — WT Taekwondo Association.

Best Paralympic Team of the Year — Uzbekistan Para Athletics Team.

Best Team of the Year — Uzbekistan Boxing Team.

Best Coach of the Year in Para Sports — Yahyo Yakubov.

Best Coach of the Year — Tulkin Kilichev.

Female Athlete Who Captured Fans' Hearts — Sitora Turdibekova (boxing).

Para-Athlete Who Captured Fans' Hearts — Ruza Kuzieva (para powerlifting).

Best Female Para-Athlete of the Year — Nurkhon Kurbonova (para athletics).

Best Female Athlete of the Year — Diyora Keldiyorova (judo).

Breakthrough of the Year — Razambek Jamalov (freestyle wrestling).

Best Para-Athlete of the Year — Husniddin Norbekov (para athletics).
