Havasbek Asadullayev lost his Asian Championship gold medal due to biting an opponent.

During the fight, Asadullaev bit Zhusupov on the shoulder, leading to a protest filed by the Boxing Federation of Kazakhstan.

The technical delegate of the Asian Championship, Sadi Duffy, decided to disqualify Asadullaev for breaking the rules, which resulted in Ablaikhan Zhusupov being declared the winner.
