Pep Guardiola on Husainov: "He is a player with immense potential."

As for Reis, he is a very talented young Brazilian footballer,” noted the Spanish coach.

Guardiola also emphasized that both defenders will be able to strengthen the team, especially in the Champions League playoffs.

“In the Premier League, they already have the opportunity to gain match experience,” added the head coach.

On Monday, Manchester City officially confirmed the transfer of central defender Abdukodir Husainov from Uzbekistan. The contract runs until June 2029 with an option to extend for one more season. The transfer fee was €40 million.

This coming Saturday, January 25, the 'Cityzens' will face Chelsea in the Premier League. It is expected that Husainov will make his debut for the new team in this match.
