In 2025, the renovation of the Pakhtakor Stadium will commence.

The stadium was constructed between 1954 and 1956 under the guidance of architect Mithat Sagatdinovich Bulatov. Initially, it had a capacity of 55,000 spectators, but after renovations in 1996, 2008, and 2012, the capacity was reduced to 35,000.
