According to the decree, the Agency for Statistics under the President will be reorganized into a National Committee for Statistics.

It has been established that the following priority areas will be targeted to enhance the effectiveness of statistical work, including:

• improving the system for conducting statistical surveys at both macroeconomic and sectoral levels, along with its methodology in line with international standards;
• reducing statistical reports and alleviating reporting burdens on businesses by expanding integration processes;
• ensuring data reliability by establishing a system for generating statistical indicators based on the principle of "from local to national."

The "Regional Statistics" information system will be launched by the end of 2025.
